William Ludwick Obituary
William R. Ludwick, of Akron, born April 20, 1920, passed away Dec. 23, 2002.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Audrey; daughters, Patricia and Butch of Vermont, Marilyn DeMuth and husband, John, of Brecksville; grandchildren, Bonnie Watral and husband, Troy, Ste phanie, Gage, Geoffrey and wife, Sharma, and Holly; great-grandchildren, Leslie, Spencer, Morgan, and Max; and sisters, Edna Carr and Eileen and husband, Buss Simp son. He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Tamara, three brothers, and two sisters.
Bill was a World War II Navy veteran (Seabees), and retired from Goodyear after 33 years of service. A caring man dedicated to his wife and extended family, Bill also served the First Grace United Church of Christ in Akron as an elder and usher for many years. He enjoyed his golf game and ping- pong with his wife and buddies.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. FRIDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Dr. Dale A. Young and Dr. Donard Engle officiating. Friends may call FRIDAY from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
