Clara Wolfe Obituary
GALLIPOLIS, Ohio — Clara Nell Wolfe, 89, Gallipolis, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Pleasant Valley Nursing Rehabilitation Center in Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
Clara Nell was born on January 19, 1931 in Gallipolis, the daughter of the late Clarence C. and Elma Gladys Sigler Burns. She was retired from Gallipolis Developmental Center where she was a TPW; Clara Nell had attended the Gallipolis Church of Christ in Christian Union and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 4464 Ladies Auxiliary.
Clara Nell was preceded in death by her former husband, Otho Wolfe; one daughter, Marsha Kay Wolfe; two sons, Charles Michael Wolfe and Marshall Ray Wolfe; a grandson, Shannon Wolfe; two sisters, Christine Kirk and Wilma Sayre; and three brothers, Williams Burns, Clarence Burns, Jr., and Robert Burns.
Clara Nell is survived by a son, Loren Clifford (Judy) Wolfe; grandchildren, Heather (Carl) Kearns, Amber (Mark) Oliver, Jeremy (Ashley) Wolfe, Ray (Vivi Anne) Wolfe, and Mark (Stephanie) Chevalier; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Kearns, Dixie, Abigail and Mark Allen Oliver, Isaac, Theo, Levi Wolfe, Ethan, Matthew, Logan, Lincoln Wolfe, and Taylor, Blake and Branson Wolfe; five sisters, Linda Kinder, Sue Chaney, Midge Daft, Carol Burns, and Thelma (Herb) Harrington; one brother, Jim Burns; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Clara Nell Wolfe will be at noon on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Oliver officiating. Her burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 5-7 p.m. at Willis Funeral Home. Those in attendance are asked to follow the CDC guidelines of practicing social distancing and are required to follow the Ohio mandate of wearing face masks.
The family would like to thank the staff at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation for the great care they gave Clara Nell for the last three years. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Clara Nell's name to the activities department at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehab Center, 640 Sand Hill Road, Pt.
