Gary Jones Obituary
POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. — Gary Allen Jones, 73, of Point Pleasant, W.Va., passed away peacefully on Monday, March 14, 2022. He was born November 14, 1948. He was the son of the late Ray and Edna Jones of Point Pleasant.
After graduating from Point Pleasant High School in 1966, Gary proudly served his country as a United States Marine during the Vietnam War. He retired from Mason County Schools and was an avid reader who enjoyed many trout-fishing trips to the mountains with his family and friends.
Gary is survived by his wife of 37 years, Diana (Mayes) Jones; his son, Cory A. Jones; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie (Jones) and Bryan Morrow. He loved and was loved by his grandchildren Darian (Morrow) Dingess (Kyle), Kyelar Morrow, Sophie and Maxwell Jones. Gary adored his great grandchildren Talon and Sutton Dingess. Gary is also survived by a brother, Anthony (Karen) Jones of Mason, W.Va. and many nieces and nephews.
No services will be held per Gary's request. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
