GALLIPOLIS — Gerald D. Roush, 80, of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017 at his residence.
He was born November 5, 1936 in Henderson, W.Va., son of the late Austin and Frances Plants Roush. Gerald was married to Rita Meek Roush and she survives him. He was a retired carpenter and member of Carpenters Local 200, Columbus.
Surviving are his wife, Rita Roush, of Gallipolis; five children, James (Julie) Roush and Gerald "Jerry" (Michelle) Roush, all of Canal Winchester, Kimberly Bouaroy, of Columbus, Dakota (Tasha) Roush and Jessica (Allen) Nolan, all of Gallipolis; grandchildren raised in the home, Jax, Devin and Rita; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Wayne Roush, of Gallipolis, and Clarence Roush, of Bidwell; sister, Betty Oliver, of Xenia.
In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by a granddaughter Faith Bouaroy, a niece Bonnie Roush, twin brother Earl Roush, brothers Gene Robinson, Virgil Roush, Ralph Roush, Alan Roush, and sisters Barbara Glassburn and Karen Folmer.

Oh my, just saw Gerald's notice. I was so blessed to have had a nice, short visit with he and Wayne up at Bidwell-Porter's alumni this past May. We had a good time talking about Mom and good "ol' times". So sorry for your loss. Our prayers and thoughts are surely with you and yours.
