VINTON — Joyce Ann Tackett, 79, Vinton, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Four Winds Nursing Home, Jackson.
She was born in Fitchburg, Mass., March 2, 1943 to the late Walter Arno and Vivian Bathuiame Schuster. She married Randall Tackett, Sr., Jan. 14, 1961 in Lunenburg, Mass., and he preceded her in death November 13, 2017. Joyce was a member of the Wilkesville Order of Eastern Star Chapter 207 and Past Worthy Matron.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Randall L. Tackett, Jr., Vinton, and Timothy Tackett, Gallia County; several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents and husband Joyce was preceded in death by a brother, Walter A. Schuster, Jr. and a sister, Helen M. Doty.
Private graveside service will be held in the Vinton Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.

Randy and Tim - We are sorry to hear of Aunt Joyce´s passing. I remember all of the good times that we had at family reunions, especially when y´all came to visit us in Lunenburg. May you find peace in knowing that she is reunited with your Dad, as well as my Mom (Helen), Uncle Walter, Meme and Grampy, and her nephew Brian. I can picture them gathered all around the table in Heaven playing Cribbage and laughing up a storm. My thoughts and prayers are with you in mind.
