BIDWELL — Myrtle Irene (Angel) Holley, 87, of Bidwell, passed went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 5:55 a.m. and has been reunited with her husband Basil in their heavenly home.

She was married Basil Thurston (Sambo) Holley, who preceded her in death on April 27, 2017. Myrtle loved to cook for anyone who came to her house. She was proud of her first place trophy she won for the best apple pie contest during the Fourth of July festivities at the Gallipolis Park. Myrtle also loved gardening and giving most of it away. She could not be outgiven.
Myrtle Irene was loved by her children and everyone she met. She is survived by daughters, Jodi (David) Knotts of Gallipolis and Linda Adams of Thurman; sons, Warren Ray Holley of Thurman and Terry Holley of Bidwell; five grandchildren, Heather Hart of Columbus, Chad Polsley of Gallipolis, Justin Fraley of Gallipolis, Isaiah Holley of Bidwell, and Allie Holley of Cheshire; six great-grandchildren, Katie and Brady Fraley of Gallipolis, Tristan and Gracie Polsley of Gallipolis, and Harrison Rockwell and Owen Schuler of Columbus; sisters, Josephine (Irwin) Gibson, Barb Chambers, Lucy Bray, and Pauline (Mike) Jeffers; brothers, Brady Angel "Junior" and Roger (Vickie) Angel; sisters-in-law, Audrey Angel, Juanita Angell, and Lynn Angel; and brothers-in-law, Lowen Cline Saunders and Don Perkins.
In addition to her parents and husband, Myrtle Irene was preceded in death by brothers, Donald Angel, James Angel, Ralph Angel, Raymond "Bill" Angell, Shirley Angel, and Ernest Eugene Angel in infancy and sisters, Betty Crouse, Audrey Saunders, and Dorothy Perkins.
