Rhonda Doss Obituary

GAHANNA, Ohio — Rhonda Jamise Doss, 56, was born May 19, 1958, to Henry Melvin Doss and Minnie Florence Doss in Gallipolis. Residing at 1430 Portebello Court, Gahanna, she passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015.

Rhonda is survived by her brother Hank (Leslie) Doss, of Phoenix; sister Camille (Doug) Thompson, of Columbus; son James H. Hogan, of Phoenix; daughter Candice J Hogan, of Dayton; four grandsons; one granddaughter; three nieces; three nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.

Rhonda graduated from Gallia Academy. She attended the University of Cincinnati and received a degree in criminal justice. She also attained a degree in social work at the University of Rio Grande.

Rhonda was a very cheerful and talkative person that loved her children, grandchildren as well as family and friends dearly.

A memorial service for Rhonda will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, at Paint Creek Baptist Church in Gallipolis.

Rhonda and I went to school together from 1st grade through high school. We were '76 model Blue Devils. I'll always remember her as cute, sassy, and with a firecracker like wit. I hope her family can find comfort in their time of loss.
