RUTLAND — Richard "Rick" Gilmore, 60 of Rutland, passed away at home on October 18, 2018.
He went on to be with family he loved and missed dearly. Rick was Born August 5, 1958, to the late Zelma Lee Jeffers and Richard Deek Gilmore in Pomeroy. He was a graduate of Meigs High School. He loved the out doors in the company of his family. He was employed through Midwest Steel, Jeffers Excavating and Facemyer Lumber.
Rick is survived by children Seth (Bridget) Gilmore, Katrina Gilmore; grandkids Livy, Luke, Kiera all of Albany. His siblings Bonnie Payne, Kay Pickens, Shawn Gilmore of Meigs County. A special friend Kathy Haley and a dog Dee Dee; and many special nieces and nephews, Jessyca, Tracy, Eric, Scott and Sarah. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home.
