Roy Cartwright Obituary
COLUMBUS — Roy Clifford Cartwright, 83, Columbus, passed away Saturday April 1, 2017 at Mount Carmel West Hospital, Columbus.
A self-employed carpenter, he was born December 2, 1933 in Gallia County, son of the late Roy Cartwright and Ruby Turner Cartwright.
Roy is survived by daughter, Lana (Terry) Coffman, Columbus; two granddaughters: Tayler and Paige Coffman and two great-grandsons, Landen Leroy Coffman and Jaden Allen Lee Coffman, all of Columbus and two sisters: Ernestine Cartwright and Anne (James) Smith, both of Cookeville, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Ruth Cartwright, March 11, 2011 and sister, Martha Lorraine Cartwright.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Pastor Monty Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
