POMEROY — Sara Rose Dill, 92, of Pomeroy, Ohio, passed away on Sept. 26, 2018, at Overbrook Center. She was born on March 19, 1926, daughter of the late Roy and Clara Curtis.
Sara was a member of Enterprise United Methodist Church and New Beginnings United Methodist Church. She was a 1944 graduate of Pomeroy High School. On April 15, 1944 she married Carl Dill.
She is survived by her daughter, Carla Carter; daughter-in-law, Betty Dill; grandchildren, Vicki Carter, Cathy (Greg) Sauvage, Valarie (Brian) McClintock and Zean Wilson; great grandchildren, Katlyn Sauvage, Trenton and Nate McClintock, and Sarah, Carrie and Jason Wilson; one great great grandchild, Saige; sister, Cordelia Bentz; and sister-in-law, Barbie Dill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; sister, Dorothy Sheets; and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 1, 2018 at noon at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Burial will follow at Rocksprings Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 11 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.
