PATRIOT — Tom J. Lewis, 51, of Patriot, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Holzer Medical Center.
Tom was born of February 11, 1966 in Gallipolis, son of Dan R. Lewis who survives and the late Mary Elizabeth James Lewis who preceded him in death on October 23, 2015. Tom attended Gallia Academy High School and Buckeye Hills and was a life-long farmer.
He is survived by his wife Angela "Jill" Turley-Lewis; a son Joshua Tom Lewis of Patriot, his father Dan Lewis; two brothers, Jon (Teresa) Lewis of Crown City and Jim (Nancy) Lewis of Gallipolis, two sisters, Melanie "Jill" Lewis-Collins of Patriot and Dianne (Randy) Whitley of Dayton; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Friday, January 19, 2018 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Leist officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. There will not be any visiting hours in accordance with his wishes.

Through the years I can't say I have had any better friend. So many great times, and adventures, and some not so great. Anyone who knew Tom, will tell you, "He was the best friend any one could know"
I'll miss is him dearly, and his monthly calls. Never was their a friend any better than Tom.
