RACINE — Violet Lois Bush, 85, of Racine, passed away, at 11:45 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2017, in the Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. Born April 23, 1931, in Letart Township to the late Otis C. and Bertha Roush Arnott. She was a homemaker and member of the Mt. Olive Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Mae Bush Tucker, of Racine, and grandson, Cody Aaron (Tiffany) Tucker, of Racine. Brothers-in-law, Ernest Bush, of Middleport, Charles Bush, of Racine, and George (Mary) Bush, of Portland, Tennessee; sisters-in-law, Clara Mae (Herbert) McIntyre, of Long Bottom, and Susan "Betty" Pigott, of Nelsonville; a special niece, Virginia Rees; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Violet is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Bush, whom she married on Jan. 31, 1948 at Antiquity and preceded her on Feb. 11, 2013; a son-in-law, Russell "Rusty" Junior Tucker; sisters, Stella Mae Dust, Zella Taylor, and Wilma Riggs; brothers, Arthur Arnott, John Arnott, Ira Arnott, Clark Arnott, William Arnott, Charles "Hank" Arnott, and Jess Arnott.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March, 25, 2017, in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine. Pastor Don Bush and Rev. Jim Corbitt will officiate. Interment will follow in the Letart Falls Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
