His contributions to both Pprune and Propilotworld forums were the stuff of legends. He came across online as very generous by nature, definitely someone I would have loved to have met in person.
I was so sorry to read the news of his passing. Our lives, both online and in the real world have been richer for crossing his path, and poorer for losing him.

Sincere condolences to the family, friends (and pets). I shall miss crossing swords with con-pilot as I knew him. I had hoped to one day share a few drams of single malt and discuss the virtues of roasting or deep-frying whole turkeys. But I guess that will now have to wait until we can finally meet in the "happy hunting ground".

I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing Josh. Your mom and dad were so kind to host all of us crazy kids giving us a safe place to hang out and feeding us better food than we could afford at that time in our lives! We love you and are praying for you and Suzi!

Alec and I became acquainted while visiting aviation forums and later started to correspond by email. While we never met I consider it a great privilege and honor to have known him. His wit, his sense of humor, his always positive outlook on life made it a pleasure to hear from him and interact with him. My condolences to Suzi and the the rest of the family. I shall raise a glass of single malt on Wednesday. Clear skies and fair winds, my fiend.

To the Caudell family, please accept my deepest condolences on your loss. I never met Alec in person, only via an online pilot's board, but it was a privilege to have been able to call him my friend. RIP Alec, you were one of the good guys.
