Our hearts are broken over the loss of Alec. Alec, Elizabeth, Jude and Rose are the BEST next door neighbors and are more like family to us. We will miss Alec, his sense of humor, waving to him in the mornings when we leave for work and watching him love his family. Our love and prayers are with each of you.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I cannot begin to imagine the pain and heartache your family is now experiencing. You are all in my heart and in my prayers. I met Alec through my son, Ben Meggs. He was one of my very favorites. His smile and laughter was infectious. He was always a joy to be around. You have all been on my mind since Ben called to tell me the tragic news. May God give you strength and courage to move forward and may He surround you with love and comfort.

He really loved OU football. I can remember going to quite a few games with him and his dad (my Uncle Bob). I was very close to both of them and I'm just crushed that they are both now gone. I will miss Alec just like I miss his Dad - immensely. There is a big hole in our family. I was so blessed to be able to hang with him over July 4th, we talked, we hung out, but I should have taken a break from all the kids to really tell him how much I loved him. His death was so sudden, so tragic, so out of nowhere - tell the ones you LOVE that you LOVE them.
