Al, I have to say you are not forgotten. With almost every photo assignment I shoot in Oklahoma I remember conversations with you about buildings and development in Oklahoma City in areas where my father grew up and later my brothers and me. You never stopped being a perceptive photographer then videographer. God bless you, Sir, for prodding me along.

I will always remember seeing Al either walking Bunker down our street or working in the yard. He always had a few words to say and always waved when I drove by. We especially had some things to remember together since meeting many years ago when we both worked at the Daily Oklahoman. In later years missed seeing him come by with Bunker but always saw him working in the yard. Joan, I know you will miss him and just want you to know I will too. Your neighbor down the street, Bob

I knew OF Al McLaughlin for many years but only knew him as a friend for the past twenty years or so. He was talented, clever, funny and always interested in other people and their lives - probably why he documented so well with a camera. I missed him from the moment I heard he had left us and can still hear his voice in my head and remember conversations we had in the past few years. God blesses you, Al.

Joan,
It is so sad to hear that you have lost the"love of your Life". I always enjoyed seeing you and Al at various events. I enjoyed sharing our passion for photography. I hope your memories of your loving times with him keep him by your side forever more.
