Alfred Price Obituary

Alfred E. passed away peacefully on June 14, 2002. He was born Oct. 17, 1931 to Charles George Price and Susie Ellen (Lovell) Price in Ft. Worth, TX. Mr. Price was an executive vice president for commercial loans at the First Bethany Bank for 15 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and had been a Master Mason since 1955. Al's family and friends will miss him and his unending sense of humor. Al was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Charles George Price, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Ann; daughter Linda Cooke & husband Steve, OKC; son Danny Price, Bethany; brother Paul Price & wife Wanda, Edmond; four grandchildren: Lance, Angie, Jessica, and Whitney. Al, 'Papa' was truly adored by his four grandchildren and he made every one of them feel very special. The love of his life was his wife Annabel 'Ann'. They were married on June 17, 1950, who shared his feelings for her in the numerous poems & notes he wrote to her for 52 years. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association of OK, 2805 E. Skelly Dr., #806, Tulsa, OK 74105. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 17, at Sunny Lane Cemetery. MERCER-ADAMS

I am sorry to hear of Alfred's passing. One of my earliest memories of Alfred was when we were in basic training at Laughlin AFB in early 1951 and he came looking for me as he had entered a little before me. I appreciated his taking the time to say hello.
