Mary W. Raiford Jordan

Civil Service Retiree HARLEM, Ga. - Mrs. Mary W. Raiford Jordan, of Gordon Highway, entered into rest Thursday, September 27, 2007 at the residence. Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Leroy Rankin officiating. Burial will be at Second Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Harlem, Ga. Mrs. Jordan was a native of Columbia Co., Ga. and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church, Campania, Ga. Mrs. Jordan was a retired employee of Eisenhower Army Medical Center. Survivors are three daughters, Joann Hawthorne, Grovetown, Ga., Beatrice Raiford, Atlanta, Ga. and Deborah Jordan, Harlem; two sons, Melvin Raiford, Atlanta, Gregory Lewis Raiford, Oxon Hills, Md.; three sisters, Julia McDougal, Edith Marshall, Augusta and Viola Watts, Harlem; two brothers, Lloyd Raiford, Macon, Ga. and Franklin Smith, Augusta; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
