Anita Louise Cotton

OKLAHOMA CITY
Anita Louise Cotton was born June 24, 1945 to Harvey and Lorene Kyle in Tulsa, OK. Anita graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, OK in 1963. Anita went on to earn her Master's Degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK. Anita spent 44 years in education with the OKC Public School system, as a business/math teacher for John Marshall High School in Oklahoma City. Anita married William Cotton Jr. on June 21, 1968, to this union, two children were born, Marnie and Marlon. Anita enjoyed spending time with her family and decorating her home. Anita is survived by her husband of 52 years, William; daughter, Marnie; son, Marlon (Stefanie); two granddaughters, Riley and Reese; sister, Rhonda Kyle; and brother, Vincent Kyle. Anita is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Lorene and a brother, Steve. The family would like to thank all of the staff at the Mansions at Waterford Memory Care Unit for their care, love and support for Anita over the last several years. The family would also like to thank all of their family and friends for all of their support throughout the years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, https://www.cancer.org/. At Anita's request a private celebration will occur at the gravesite for immediate family.
