Delmer Scott Obituary

DELMER R. SCOTT, 76, of Monroeville, died Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at 7:40 a.m. at Village of Heritage Nursing Center, Monroeville. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, Monroeville and a retired farmer. He was married to Alvera W. (Lengerich) Scott, who passed away May 24, 2002. Surviving are five daughters, Patricia M. Bowers of Monroeville, Nancy A. Wise of Fort Wayne, Mary L. Sorgen of Monroeville, Margaret A. Demongeot of Monroeville and Linda S. Stephens of Fort Wayne; five sons, Donald L. of Monroeville, Edward J. of Fort Wayne, Daniel T. of Monroeville, Allen P. of Fort Wayne and Michael L. Scott of Hoagland; 25 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the St. Rose Catholic Church, Monroeville, with a Prayer service at 10 a.m. in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville. Visitation is from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday, with a Rosary at 8:30 p.m., and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial at St. Rose Catholic Cemetery, Monroeville.
