Charles Rolewicz Obituary

Charles Rolewicz, age 78, of Washington, passed away peacefully in his home April 11, 2009. Charles was born April 12, 1930 in OKC, the 2nd of 3 children born to Frank Rolewicz and Frances (Blahaviack). He graduated from Moore high school and later attended Oklahoma A&M, earning 3 Technical Degrees: Automotive, Building Construction and Diesel. Charles married Mary Isabelle Hardesty on June 8, 1969 in OKC. Together they raised two children, John and Cindy. They made their home in South OKC, where Charles worked as a self-employed Contractor and Home Builder in South Oklahoma City for more than 30 years. He was a member of Southwest Homebuilders Association, the Western Bohemian Fraternal Organization and Polka Dots Polka Band. Charles was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all. Preceded in death by parents sister, Agnes Ayers. Survivors: wife, Mary daughter, Cindy Miller and husband Jonathan of Washington son, John Rolewicz of Washington brother, Bob Rolewicz and wife Velma of Newcastle, OK 3 grandchildren, Wyatt, Austin and Breanna several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Purcell. Burial will follow at the Washington Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson-Little, Purcell.

My Uncle Charlie was a great & loving man who always has a great sense of humor and love for life.
I will never forget the unconditional love he shared.
He was a true Father to many and his example will live on.
