Charles "Dick" Spear
Feb. 3, 1947 - Dec. 9, 2020

Charles Richard "Dick" Spear, age 73, of Yukon, OK ran into the arms of Jesus on Dec. 9, 2020. Dick was born on Feb. 3, 1947, in Boise, ID. He graduated from the Bethany Nazarene College (SNU) with a degree in sociology, and received his master's of criminal justice at Oklahoma City University. He was married to Rhonda Gilbert on May 26, 1973. Dick is survived by his wife, Rhonda; children, Kimberly (Robby) Patton and Megan (Danny) Peach; and grandchildren, Riley, Olivia, Sophia, Owen, Jacob, and Makenna. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. at the Bethany First Church of the Nazarene. It will also be livestreamed at www.bethanynaz.org/live. If joining in person, the family requests that you please wear a mask and practice social distancing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts be made to the School of Music at Southern Nazarene University, Dick's alma mater.
