Clyde Earl Bruce

Clyde Earl Bruce, age 68, longtime Yukon resident, died Sunday, October 21, 2001, at an Oklahoma City hospital, after a long illness. He was born November 6, 1932, in Calhan, Colorado, and grew up in Calhan, CO and Custer City, OK. He was a 1950 graduate of Custer City High School. He lived in Clinton, OK until 1969 when he moved to Yukon where he was Truck Sales Mgr. for Alan Merrill Chevrolet. More recently, he had been in the auto sales business with his sons. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and was a member of Christ's Church in Yukon. He is survived by his wife, Kathy of the home; two sons, Clyde Bruce, III and wife, Anita of Edmond, Curt Bruce and wife, Kelly of Piedmont; four daughters, Debbie Lewis of Tucson, Arizona, Cindy Frey and husband, Jeff of Rockwall, Texas, Angie Bunyard and husband, Cole of Reno, Nevada and Camie McNeil and husband, Chuck of Mustang; and sixteen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Jeffrey. Services will be conducted at 2 PM, on Wednesday, October 24, 2001, at Christ's Church in Yukon, with interment following in Yukon Cemetery under the direction of McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, OK.
