CRAIG ANSON Obituary

Oct 8, 1960 - June 8, 2012 MUSTANG Craig Versel Anson, age 51, longtime Mustang resident and business owner, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 8, 2012, at his home in rural Mustang. He was born October 8, 1960, in Oklahoma City, OK to Larry L. & Lola M. (Woodall) Anson. Craig grew up in the Bethany/Mustang area and was a 1978 graduate of Mustang High School. He earned his Registered Nurse degree from OSU Tech and had worked many years in the medical field. He and his wife Toni owned and operated Vital Systems of Oklahoma as well as TLC-Em, LLC. Craig was an entrepreneur and could design and build anything he set his mind to. He built his own home, barns and even his own swimming pool. He was an avid Mopar "muscle car" collector. As a Dad, he became an expert at anything he could do with his kids. He was a longtime member of The Bridge A/G Church. Preceded in death by his father, Larry Anson; and his stepfather, Gene Bolton; Craig is survived by his wife, Toni, of the home; one son, Caleb Anson of OKC; two daughters, Larissa Bowker & husband Kyle of Tuttle, and Emily Anson of OKC; also by one brother, Andy Anson of Mustang; and four stepbrothers, Rick, Tommy, Randy and Ernie Bolton. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 11, 2012, at The Bridge Assembly of God Church in Mustang, OK, with interment following in the Mustang Cemetery. McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be made at: www.mcneilsmustangfs.com

I worked with Craig at HomeCare Medical and Option Care. I will always remember Craig as professional, caring, and an ultra smart go getter! He had a wonderful sense of humor and someone you could trust to always have your back. Can´t believe your gone.

We never hung out and really only new each other through brief conversations but I found you to be kind and warm even to those you barely knew. Gone but not forgotten. RIP Craig.

I was so sorry when my sister Susan told me of Craig's passing...he gave my hubby great care at the hospital in or about '89 or '90 when my husband was injured at work; before that, I knew him from school, of course, even though he was 2 years younger than me.
The only comfort is knowing he's with The Lord and happy in Heaven! Miss you, Craig. Kathie (Edwards) Kerr

I was saddened to learn of Craig's passing today. I barely knew Craig but our paths crossed several times during high school activities. He was always kind and considerate. My condolences to his wife Toni and the rest of his family and friends.
