Dec. 17, 1950 - Nov. 5, 2015 OKLAHOMA CITY David Dean Sherman was born on Dec. 17, 1950, in Holdenville, OK. He was the oldest of four boys born to Robert & Nova Sue Sherman. He was preceded in death by his parents. In 1977, he married Virginia Whitton, and in 1990, they were blessed with the birth of their son, Alexander. An athlete at Choctaw HS, he continued his love of sports with OU football. An accountant by trade, he had a passion for music, technology, and his constant canine companion, Yogi. They were known to all in the neighborhood as the pair went on daily walks. David is survived by his wife, Virginia; son, Alexander; brothers, Gene, Randy and wife Donna, and Bobby and wife Leigh. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Boy Scout Troop 168 - Chapel Hill Methodist Church or the American Kidney Foundation. Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, at Chapel Hill Methodist Church, 2717 W. Hefner Rd., OKC.
