I have never known anyone else like Dennis Martin! He made the day so much more fun than we probably should have been allowed to have back in the days when I worked with him at Blunck's.
He photographed our wedding in 1983; those photographs are even more dear to me now.
He will be truly missed by so many!

It was an honor to work with Dennis back in the good old days of Blunck studios... We will all miss him!

I cried when I heard Mr. Martin passed away.
I, my husband, my sister and my husband's sister all attended Wayne School and had Mr. Martin as our band director. I just wanted to let his loved ones know how great it was to have him be a part of our lives.
While Mr. Martin was at Wayne, our band grew to be one of the largest Wayne ever had. Besides our regular band class, we had a guitar class, a music appreciation class, got the old band uniforms out of the moth balls and used them until we were able to get new ones. We marched in parades, went to contest, played at home and away football games and had a pep band that played a basketball games. If for some reason Mr. Martin couldn't get the music he wanted us to play, he would write all the different instrumental parts. He somehow was even able to get the school to let us take a bus to see groups like Chicago, ELO, Eagles and the Doobie Brothers. It was great!!
Mr. Martin's love for music was apparent and he made us improve and be proud of what we accomplished. The best part of all, it was so much fun.
Like my husband said, "When I think of Mr. Martin I can only smile and have good, happy memories." He will be missed.
Sincerely,
Sandra and Rudy Kennedy

MY sincerest condolences to Dennis' family and friends.
I was dismayed to learn of Dennis' passing ( right on the heels of William Krebbs and Dennis Hawkins, all of whom were associated together with Blunck's Studios! )
Dennis was a fun-loving guy and we really managed to have some laugh-filled memories amidst all the hard work we did. As much as we griped and complained about our assignments, they somehow turned into the most amusing misadventures! Dennis contributed a lot to making the work load seem lighter.
I'm going to miss him ( but I'm never going to forget him ).
