Frank Leno Obituary

Frank Wayne Leno, a longtime resident of Oklahoma City, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2009, in Oklahoma City at the age of 75. Frank was born on November 21, 1934 to Grant and Julia (Reeve) Leno in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Frank moved to Oklahoma City in his youth. He was a member of the Delaware Tribe of Indians. Frank served his country in the U.S. Army and was a self-employed auto body repairman for over 30 years. He enjoyed bluegrass music, surfing the Internet, racing and was known for his humor and willingness to help others. Frank is survived by his wife of 53 years, Alice Carlene (Siegenthaler) Leno; his son, Frank "Sonny" Leno, Jr.; daughters: Vicki Leno; Julie Folsom and husband, Douglas; Terri Clark and husband, Ray; 9 grandchildren; and brother, Bennett Lee Leno. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 5, 2010, from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, at Resthaven Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

He is as beautiful as I remember from my childhood, I think his hair was almost as white as in the picture posted. I am so thankful for the friendship with Julie and the kindness Mr (an Mrs.) Leno always showed me during those all important teen years. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time.
