Debbie, Aubrey and Amanda,
I know this time of the year will be hard for all of you, it is for me every year and it had been 6 years since my dad died. Keep yourselves busy, look at lots of photos, remember the happy times and know that your family is there if you need us. I think of you all often and wish that I could make it all better. I know this year has been the worst, lets just all hope that the years to come are better and get easier. I love you all, Happy Holidays!!! You too FRED!!

To the Allen Family,
Sorry for the late entry.( This online book is all new to me.)I did not know a Fred, or a Michael. Sometimes a Mike when he was in trouble with the teacher. We knew him as "Cotton" and that's who we grew to love. We were the best of friends in highschool. Not many guys around you could unload trucks with, then go study Shakespeare and Calculus, then ski all weekend at the lake.(and eat the world's best fried potatoes)The trouble is you go off to college, raise a family, pursue your career and lose touch with some people that really meant so much! May God bless all of you in your time of sorrow. I will miss him dearly but always have that very mischievous smile of his to remember. - Brad Loeffelholz

To the Allen family, I was very sorry to hear about your loss.
I met Fred in Perth while working for Kerr McGee. I have a vivid picture in my mind of Fred sitting back after a game of golf watching a beautiful sunset in Perth being totally at peace.
We will miss him.

To Debbie & Family. Our sincerest sympathy for the loss of such a wonderful man. Ken had the privilege of working with Fred at Kerr McGee over the past few years and held him in the highest regard. We both had some memorable times with Fred whilst he was in Perth and it seems hard to imagine that he is no longer with us. He always had a huge smile on his face when he spoke so fondly of yourself and the girls. Only a week before his sad passing we received one of his friendly emails and as usual it put a smile on our face. We will always remember him as the true and kind gentleman that he indeed was. Gone but certainly not forgotten.
Best regards

To all of Mike's family & friends, I want to express my appreciation to all those that have either sent flowers, wrote letters, attended services, attended visitation, wrote condolances &/or kept Mike (& our family)in your thoughts & prayers. Please know that during this tragic time these are what keeps us going. I talked to many during the 1st few days after the accident & reaffirmed what I already knew, that my brother was loved by all. To Debbie ,Aubrey, & Amanda, please know that Sherrie, Shawn, Shane & I love the 3 of you very much & I will do anything you need me to do. Once again thanks to all during our time of need. Mitch

To the Allen Family: Please accept my deepest regrets on the loss of Fred. I followed Fred from Longview to Midland to Dallas to Oklahoma City to Houston. To anyone who knew Fred, he was considered a friend. There are no amounts of words that can ease the grief you feel, and will feel for some time to come. His leaving so suddenly is especially hard to overcome. The best I have ever seen was written by Robert E. Lee to his wife on the passing of their granddaughter. He said he cried tears of joy when he thought of their granddaughter sitting beside their blessed Jesus. May this thought give you some relief during this time. The hole that has been ripped in your lives will never be healed, but if you concentrate on the joys you were able to have, the scar becomes much more bearable. We will all remember Fred for the great individual he was, and feel greatfull for the time we did know him. Again, my deepest sympathies.

Debbie and girls, Rhonda and I are very heartbroken, My memories of my cousin Mike, from childhood to when he would make the occasional Oklahoma visits, will keep him present in our mind and hearts forever. There is so many things about MIke that come to mind, although I think the firm handshake, the huge smile, always ready to get in on a practical joke, or just join in with his unique laughter. Our prayers are with the family. Paul and Rhonda Allen, and family

To Debbie and family, we extend our deepest sympathies and prayers during this very difficult time. Find comfort in knowing that though Fred is no longer in our world he now resides in the ultimate home. Remember that you are never alone as God will always be with you for comfort, strength, and guidance.
All who ever knew, or met, Fred share the grief of this tragic loss. Any event or gathering that Fred attended, or endeavor in which he was involved, had a special 'Fred flair" creating fond memories for us all. His ever smiling attitude, quick wit, and lighthearted and caring personality have made the 20+ years that I've known Fred as a friend and colleague more enjoyable for all. We'll truly miss you "Big Guy".

Fred was not a close personal friend of mine but I did consider him a friend. We were business associates, we did business together and occasionally had lunch together. There were a couple of things about Fred that always stood out to me. First and foremost it was that great smile and the cordial greeting he always had for me when we met for any reason. Second was the automatic presence of honor and integrity he unobtrusively projected in all walks of life that came across in all his conversations with me.
Our industry and society have lost a great contributor and we have lost a great friend and family man.
May God bless and protect you and your family.

There are no words that can describe what Fred was to me.
I have known Fred for nearly 25 years. He was my best friend at Kerr McGee. He was my co-worker, boss, mentor, friend-to-confide-in, and so much more. He was 'Family', to my Mother, Father and brothers who knew him during the early years at Sun Oil (who are heart-broken). We all loved him so much. We will NEVER forget him.
In my mind I have lost a brother. It was a true "blessing" to know him.
I wish I knew what to say to help you through this time of pain. You are in my prayers.
Debbie, if you need anything at all, day or night, just call I will be there. We are here for you and the girls.

My deepest sympathies to Debbie and the girls. Fred was a dear friend of mine for over 15 years and was always there when I needed him. Fred had helped me and my family in more ways than he realized. My relationship with Fred extended well past any professional dealings. Fred was always a father first. We would have lengthy discussions about his children and mine. We would have business luncheons and never discuss business; it was always about Debbie and the girls. Fred was very proud of his family. He always wanted to know the latest on my family and how they were progressing in life. I know his job took time away from his family but they were always on his mind. He loved his family and was a dear friend. I will miss him.

Debbie you are like a sister to me and we have "grown" up together, physically and spiritually, I love you so much!!!
We love you here at the Allen's house in Katy and at our church Grace Fellowship, we love this song and want to write it here in Honor of Fred.
Blessed Be Your Name
In the land that is plentiful
Where your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be your name
Blessed Be Your name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed Be Your name
Every blessing you pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in
Still I will say
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
Blessed be Your name
When the sun's shining down on me
When the world's 'all as it should be'
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name
You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord Blessed be your name
AMEN! and OU#1! rah-rah!!!

Debbie & Family,
I had so much fun working with Fred these past several years here in Houston. Just before he left work on Friday we joked about him going to HPL this week and how quiet it will be here without him. I will miss him and from the flood of phone calls and emails I've been receiving all morning (making me unable to do anything else!), I can tell what I already knew, that many, many other people will be missing Fred too. He was so well loved here at Kerr-McGee.
God bless you and keep you through this tough time.

All day I have been trying to think of what to write in here.. I guess I can only say that Aunt Debbie, Aubrey, & Mandy I love you guys so much and I hurt so bad knowing what you are having to go through right now. I have nothing but very fond memories of my Uncle Fred. Being that we lived so far apart we rarely got to see one another, but when we did.. I could always count on him to make me laugh. His "electric" smile always made me smile too.. and I am still having a hard time believing that this is really real. I wish we were living closer so I could be there for all of you right now, but I want you to know that my thoughts are with you ... and my heart is there with you as well... All my love. Colisha
