Dear Fred, I have so enjoyed our moments shared in time and space. For 58 years you were my big brother and true friend demonstrating and teaching life as you saw it. We enjoyed so many revelatory moments of laughter, deep thought, spiritual growth, concern for the world, love for nature and extraordinary mischief. An unusually intelligent and insightful person, you would leap back and forth from mundane facts to ethereal fantasy and articulate an opinion which would both edify and provoke more curiosity. I miss you now and will see you later. Namaste

Fred was always a delight to be around. His sense of humor entertained many. I will surely miss him even though I did not see him as much as I would have liked. I am sure his family will miss him dearly. You are in my prayers.

We were good friends for many years. I'll miss your wonderful humor and semi-profound witticisms (specifically glow & shinola). You were so interesting and entertaining at the Urantia Book study groups and socials. I'll see you again someday. You can fill me in on all the mysteries. Goodbye my friend, God speed.

Shakespeare says of Hamlet:
"Good night, sweet Prince, and flights of angels fly thee to thy rest."
Farewell for now, Fred, but see you in the new life sometime soon!

I have so many fond remembrances of our dear friend and brother, Fred. I'm not ready to let him go. He was one of the nicest and funniest people I have ever met, and I shall truly miss him. I am unable to attend the Monday morning service due to sudden commitments at work, but will be there in spirit. I can only hope that we remember Fred by emulating his continual hope and sense of community.
