Gary Larsen

Sept 2, 1939 - March 14, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Gary Wayne Larsen, age 72, of OKC, passed away March 14, 2012. He was born September 2, 1939, in Iowa. Gary took good care of his car and home. He liked GM cars but tolerated Mopars because of his wife. He loved to travel to Estes Park in Colorado, the Black Hills, and Mount Rushmore in South Dakota. Gary retired after 31 years with General Motors and served in the National Guard for seven years. Gary is survived by his wife of 31 years, Catherine Larsen; one son, Shawn Larsen & wife Abby; one grandchild, Parker Larsen; one brother, Gale Larsen & wife Susan; one sister, Myrna Gosch; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer & Marcella Larsen; and one brother, Royce Larsen. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, Moore, OK. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, OKC. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, Moore, OK.
