Gary Poole Obituary

Gary Wallace Poole, 52, passed away on July 8, 2010 at Veterans Hospital. Gary proudly served four years in the US Navy. He graduated from Northwest Classen HS and attended UCO. A loving father, Gary had a quick wit, a ready smile and never met a stranger. He is survived by his daughters, Corinne and Lauren Poole of OKC; brother, Lee Poole of Phoenix; and sister, Lynn Spach of Washington, D.C. Services will be held at All Souls' Episcopal Church, Tuesday, July 13th, at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Norman Veterans Center or OK Medical Foundation.

I remember him from High School and had ran into him over the past few years. He was very intelligent with a good heart. Sorry to hear about him passing.

my name is rick bayliff and i met gary at the va hospital just a few days before he died. we just had small talk about the vet. hosp and the care we was receiving and a few misc. things . i could tell in the small time i knew him that he was a friendly and loving man, and im so glad to have met him before he left us.
