GeorgeAnna Wright

GeorgeAnna Wright, born to Sydney and Emma Vosper on Aug. 6, 1925 in Owasso, OK. She was the youngest of five children raised in the Masonic home in Guthrie, OK. She passed from this life on Dec. 10, 2006 at the age of 81. GeorgeAnna married the man of her dreams, Roger Lee Wright on Aug. 2, 1947. To this union were born three children, Shirley Ann Wright, Stephen Roger Wright, and Gregory L. Wright. GeorgeAnna worked as a Registrar and Principal secretary for twenty years at Moore High School. GeorgeAnna has been a member of First Baptist Church of Moore since 1947. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Lee Wright; daughter Shirley Ann Wright and son Dr. Stephen Roger Wright. Survivors include son, Gregory L. Wright and wife Norma; three grandchildren, Daniel Wright, Zackary Wright and Lindsay Wright of Moore, OK; sisters-in-law, Marjorie Thrasher of Moore, OK and Oleta Lievsay of OKC; nephew, Allen Foster of Guymon, OK; three nieces, Georgie Foster of OKC, Sandie Morgan and husband Don of Indiana, and Debbie Whiston and husband Lyn of Illinois; a host of great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Moore Nursing Center and Faith Hospice for providing such wonderful compassion and tender loving care to GeorgeAnna and her family during this difficult time and to Sommerset Assisted Living for 6 years of wonderful care for our mother. We will always be grateful for all you've done. Loving, sweet, sweet momma and grandmother. We will forever keep you in our hearts and lovingly remember your tender embrace and your kind gentle ways. Services are 10:00 AM Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006 at Vondel Smith South Colonial Chapel with interment to follow at Moore City Cemetery in Moore, OK.
