Irene K. Kienlen

Irene K. Kienlen passed away March 19, 2004 at the home of daughter and son in law, Betty and Leo Lippert, in Bethany, OK after reaching the age of 97. She was born June 15, 1906 in Okarche, OK where she attended the St. John's Lutheran School and Church. Her parents and siblings preceded her in death as well as her husband, Ray, and daughter, Mildred Botchlet. During WWII she worked at Tinker Air Force Base to help with the war effort. She lived her life as a homemaker and was a resident of Oklahoma for all her life. Her hobby was crocheting and knitting. She is survived by her loving daughter, Betty, and husband, Leo Lippert, her beloved 7 grandchildren and her 23 great-grandchildren. She will be remembered as a living and giving person, always thinking of others first. She was known for her bright smile and humor. Her greatest joy was being together with friends and family. All will miss her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Messiah Lutheran Day School. The funeral service will be held at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home in Bethany at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2004, with entombment in Rose Hill Mausoleum. MERCER-ADAMS
