Marlene, You may not remember me, but I
remember you, your family and, of course,
Jerry very well. I am so sorry to hear
of Jerry's passing. He was always a special person, not just because of football, but the fact he was a good person. I always followed his career. I got to introduce two of my children to him at a homecoming game in Breckenridge. That was a really big deal for them. My prayers are with you and your family. With love, Mildred McElyea Isbell

I am truly sorry for the loss of such a great man; my heart goes out to his family.
I was not fortunate enough to see him play in person, but I followed his career and was never disappointed of him on or off the field.

I am sorry to hear about the death of Jerry. He was a great football player
& a great man off the field. I ask Jerry
for a signature on my truck. He drove to
McKinney Tx to sign the truck. He is the true example for our young people
I watched him from the first game as a Cowboy
We miss him

My deepest sympathy for your loss. May God comfort you.
Jerry was my geography teacher at Breckenridge Junior High in 1960. He was a good teacher. It was really great to have that experience.
Breckenridge folks remember him and are very proud of him.
