Jewel Hall

January 25, 1923 - August 19, 2011 OKLAHOMA CITY Jewel T. Hall, of Oklahoma City, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011, at the age of 88. Jewel embodied her name and was precious to her family. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 23, at Resthaven Funeral Home, with Chaplain Gregory Bennett officiating. Visitation will be Monday, August 22, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Resthaven. Jewel was born on January 25, 1923, to Francis and Lilly Toby in Atoka, OK. Jewell grew up on a farm and was close to her 10 siblings. She retired in 1983 as an office manager. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Vernie Hogg; brothers, Ernest, Wayne, Haskell, Winford, Clarence and his wife Annabelle, and Larry and his wife Virginia; and stepson, Larry Hall. Jewel is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Luther Hall; brothers, Kenneth, Clinton, and Richard; daughter, Judy McNair; stepdaughter, Glenda Benkert; granddaughter, Tianne Bradley and husband Mike; grandson, Bobby Mansell; step-grandchildren, Greg Hall, Jeff Hall and wife Eryn, Ryan Hall, Doug Rogers, and Denise Lee and husband Carlos; great-grandchildren, Amber Adamson and husband Alex, Eric Bradley and wife Holly, Toby Bradley and wife Samantha, and Brandon Mansell; and great-great-grandson, Gage. Jewel loved to travel and experienced much of the world accompanying her husband on business trips. She faithfully sent postcards and brought back mementos for her family. She loved to cook and spend time with her grandchildren. Jewell was a true lady who will be missed by all who knew her. Pallbearers will be Alex Adamson, Eric Bradley, Mike Bradley, Toby Bradley, Greg Hall, Jeff Hall, Ryan Hall and Bobby Mansell. Services are under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
