Dear Mrs. Cunningham and family,
I was saddened to learn of your loss. Several years ago at a William and Mary Homecoming Dinner (Order of the White Jacket), I met a 1954 graduate who was returning for his reunion. He mentioned that Dean Cunningham deserved the most credit for his success at W&M! I noted that Scotty was present at the dinner, and later lead him to Mr. and Mrs. Cunningham's table! I shall always cherish my memories of Dean Cunningham. Sincerely, Joan and Ron Willard'61

Dear CC and Family: I am so saddened to learn of Scotty's death. When I came to W&M in 1986 as University Librarian, he (and you) treated me
like an old friend and I was always grateful to you both for your
graciousness on every occasion when we met. My thoughts and prayers are
with you all.

Dear Mrs. Cunningham;
I am very sorry to hear about the death of Mr. Cunningham. I worked for him in 1983 at the Alumni Society at WM. I learned a great deal from him. He always had a calmness to him that made everyone feel comfortable. Again I am deeply sorry for your loss.
