Katherine Hartronft Obituary

Katherine Hartronft, passed away Mon., Jan. 28, 2002, at Deaconess Hospital. 'Katie' was blessed with 99 happy, healthy years and will be missed greatly. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joean and Bill Calhoun of Wichita, KS; and a son, Earl Bale of Rialto, CA; sisters, Josephine Sneed and Marie Hughey of Olney, TX; grandson, Brad Hartronft, his wife, Karen and 2 great grandchildren, Brian and Lauren of OKC; grandson Barry Hartronft of Dallas, TX; grandson, Rex Massey, his wife, Kathy and 2 great grandchildren, Cort and Laurie of Edmond, OK; granddaughter, Carrie Williams, her husband, Kenny and 2 great grandchildren, Daniel and Kevin of Jenks, OK; and many, many especially loved nieces and nephews. Katherine was born Sept. 2, 1902, in Hobart, OK, Indian Territory, and was a lifelong member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, of 52 years; her son, Bill Hartronft; daughter, Norma McConnell; and grandson, Joe Ledford. Katherine was of great strength and support to everyone she touched, that touch will be missed. Memorial gifts can be sent to the Children's Sunday School Dept. at Wesley United Methodist Church at 1401 NW 25, OKC, OK 73106. Services will be at Guardian North Funeral Home, Thurs., Jan. 31, 2002, at 2:30 p.m. GUARDIAN NORTH 11600 N. Pennsylvania Ave.
