Loretta Waddell Obituary

Loretta M. Waddell, was born February 4, 1917, in Pana, IL, to Edward and Margaret (Davis) Nowack. She passed from this life August 4, 2002, in Oklahoma City. After graduating college, she became an elementary school teacher. She served in the Women's Army Corp during WWII where she achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. Mrs. Waddell was an active bowler for many years and enjoyed arts and crafts. Surviving relatives include her husband of 57 years, Bernard Waddell; three sons, Bhrent Waddell and wife, Janet of Collinsville, OK, Bruce Waddell and wife, Carol of California, and Brian Waddell and wife, Stacey of Auburn, NE; one sister, Byrd Dixon of Joliet, IL; six grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Karen Vineyard-Waddell of Clearwater, FL; and one great grandson. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 7, 2002, in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. RESTHAVEN FUNERAL HOME S.W. 104TH AT WALKER 691-1661

Our prayers are with you all. Aunt Letty was always a warm,wonderful, and compassionate lady. We will treasure the memories of her. The love which she shared with all of her family was always evident. May the peace which only God can bring be with all of you.
