Mae Dell gave the best hugs. She would just wrap around you and hold you just a little longer than you expected. She truly loved her friends and family with unconditional love. All her children filled her heart and when the grand babies came, she was complete. That love was extended to her friends, too. Somehow Mae Dell saw through our imperfections and just saw the potential in us - as was so evident when she worked with the women in our prison system. Plants and people. It was all about growth and potential to her. This was Mae Dell's legacy to family and friends - seeing the best in all of us and just loving us with no rules or boundaries. I love this sweet family and will always be here for each of you. Your wife, mother, and grandmother was a true blessing in my life. Thank you, Mae Dell. I'll see you later....
