Norma Jondahl Obituary

Norma Jean Jondahl
Dec. 22, 1932 - July 11, 2020

OKLAHOMA CITY
Norma Jean Jondahl 87, passed away peacefully at Mercy Hospital surrounded by loved ones. She was born to Phillip and Lorena Thompson in Chelsea, Oklahoma. She later moved to Tulsa where she attended Central High. She met and married John Jondahl, who preceded her in death but they had the good fortune to spend 46 wonderful years together. Norma was a draftsman for Kerr McGee and plotted wells and pipe plans until she became a mother and wanted to stay home and raise her two children. Norma was an adventurer who loved life and a few of her favorite things were playing bridge, musicals, traveling all over the world, an afternoon shopping, going out to lunch and trips to the casino. Preceding her in death was her son, John Jondahl III. Surviving family members are Julie and Fred Donley and 3 grandchildren, John Jondahl and Sam Donley both of Oklahoma City, Andrew and wife Ariana Donley of Birmingham and 2 great grandchildren, Brooks and Leila. Those who loved her so much feel especially blessed to have had so many wonderful years and memories with her. Interment to be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
