PATRICIA "JOAN" STAMMAN

1945 - 2016

Oct. 31, 1945 - Nov. 26, 2016 OKLAHOMA CITY Joan and twin brother, John, were born to Hervey and Thelma Grimm on Halloween 1945. Joan graduated from Putnam City High School in 1963 and married her high school sweetheart, Don Stamman. She was preceded in death by Don, her friend and former spouse, on Thanksgiving 2013. She is survived by her two daughters, Angela Mead, of Pasadena CA, husband Aaron and daughters, Isabella and Olivia; and Stephani Roper, of OKC, husband Jack and children, Aden, Ava, and Sophie; her brother, John Grimm, of Carrolton, TX, wife Susan, daughter Dawn and granddaughter Haley; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Hudak and her daughter, Alexis Mayfield. Joan spent many years working in the oil and gas industry, then made a bold career change in 1996, joining Keller Williams Realty. Joan excelled in this field, working as a team with daughter, Stephani, at KW Elite for the past 17 years. Joan's greatest love was spending time with her family on outings, shopping and travel. Joan volunteered annually with her KW community, serving those in need. Even in death, Joan continued to give, as she chose to donate her body to medical research. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Valir Hospice for their loving care, and to Dr. Sanjay Hapani, who attentively cared for Joan throughout her battle with cancer.
