Blanchard Oct. 22, 1926 - Jun. 8, 2011 EDMOND Services for Pauline Dilts Blanchard will be held Saturday, 6-11-11 at 11:00 a.m. at the Crown Heights United Methodist Church located at 1021 NW 37, Oklahoma City, OK. Mrs. Blanchard was born October 22, 1926 to James and Wilda Dilts and died Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in Oklahoma City. She grew up in Hunter and Stillwater, OK. Throughout her life she was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church and worked tirelessly in church efforts. She was also accomplished in academics at Oklahoma A&M. She married Bruce John Blanchard in 1948 and was the mother of their three children: Karen Blanchard Choice, Colleen Blanchard Bicket, and Karl Wesley Blanchard. Grandchildren are John Bicket, Chrissy Dobson, Mark Bicket, Bryan Blanchard, and Drew Blanchard. Her children's spouses are Robert Choice, Dr. Paul Bicket, and Julie Blanchard. Pauline worked in the John Deere business, Epworth United Methodist Church in Chickasha, Home Ec. teacher in Verden, OK and volunteered for the American Cancer Society. She fought many health battles throughout her life with bravery and strength. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
