I was delivered by Dr. Casper at St. Anthony's hospital in Nov. of 1951. As my birthday approaches, I will give thanks for Dr. Casper's attentiveness to me and my mom. My parents always spoke highly of
Dr. Casper perhaps because my great-grandparents also were Russian Germans who settled in the Fairview area. My father asked me to forward the obituary to him in Arizona so he could reflect on the accomplishments of Dr. Casper's life, and look forward to seeing another friend in heaven.

David, Judi, and the Casper family,
Our condolences on the loss of Dr. Casper. Our family has been honored to know and call him a friend since the time he was my father's English teacher in Garber Okla. He was a special man and always seemed to focus on you when he talked to you -- a truly great gift. He was gracious, genrous, thoughtful, and healing and he touched many lives as he traveled the road of life. What a shining example of how to live your life! He will be missed by all those he touched. He always talked about his family and how proud he was of each and everyone and the memories you have will always be there for you. The community and the world is better off for his being here and there is no better tribute than that. God Bless each and all.

We are honored and privileged to have known Dr Casper and his wonderful family. He was such a pillar of strength and integrity to the youth of the Mid Del area in times past. He made you feel that he was part of your life and as such you were a better person because of that connection. A sincere tribute to a great man.
