PETER ROSINO Obituary

July 22, 1930 - August 15, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Peter Joseph Rosino passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 15, 2013, in Moore, OK where he has resided for the past 13 years, after living in NY for most of his lifetime. He was born in NY on July 22, 1930 to Caroline and Pietro Rosino. He was one of ten children. He is survived by five children: Peter Rosino, Carol Ann Anderson, Jean Marie Romanchuk, Paul Rosino and John Rosino, 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren from Long Island, NY and Moore, OK. He is also survived by four sisters. He was a Fourth Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus for over 50 years. Many thanks to Century 21 Home Health Care and Somerset Assisted Living for the excellent care they provided our father and to the Bulletin Bunch and parishioners from St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Moore, OK. He will be missed and in our thoughts every day. We love you. Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 17, 2013, at St. Andrew The Apostle Catholic Church, 800 NW 5th, Moore, OK. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.

To the Family of Peter Rosino,

I am sorry for your loss.
I just want say that your father was "something else" but you all already knew that. We are going to miss him here at 21st Century Home Health!!

To Paul, his primary caregiver, you got to do all the dirty work and be the bad guy these past few years. Your decisions kept him safe. Do you know he forgave you for not letting him stay in his home and drive that fancy new car!?! Do you know, that in the end, Your father spoke the words he was proud of you?? He was sooooo happy before he left this world and it's because you made some decisions for him ~that were BEST~ just like he did for you when you were in his care and you weren't able to make safe decisions for yourself. So thank you for making sure he got what he needed and and not everything that he wanted because in the end ... he was one happy little fella!!!

I already miss you ... Peter Rosino!! I step back and look at the past 2 years I've known you (Yes, 2 years which have flown by so quickly)and I smile ~ I smile because I know that you were so happy at the end of your days and I am comforted ... that you left peacefully in your sleep. Thank you for all that you have taught me and thank you for letting me teach you. I know it wasn't easy being bossed around by a girl sometimes but I appreciate you listening to me and I know that YOU KNOW everything I said was a part of taking GOOD care of you.
