To all my family in our time of grief I love you, and which I could be there. However, I send this letter of my memory's of my grandparents. I had the honor the be the first born out of the six granddaughters that Grandma and Bubba had so have I have alot of memory's that I could share, but I'll try to keep it short. To my Grandma I want to say thank you for all the times you would let have fudge swirl ice cream with maple syrup on top. For the times you tried to teach me how to knit and crochett. For your special cakes with the peanut butter frosting. Even for the dolls with knitted clothes you would make me for Christmas that I would look at and think to myself "What am I going to do with this" being that I was such a tom-boy. For all the times she made me Bisquick pancakes at 8 AM even though I had gotten up with Bubba and had pancakes and sausage with at four in the morning. For the times she threaten to spank me with that ping-pong paddle that she left in kitchen with her neatly folded kitchen rags. For all the times she replaced her great-grandson's blankie that is still carried at age 14. Now for Bubba, the greatest grandpa anyone could have. He could always find some way to keep my entertained, weather it be by taking me for a ride on the pink panther snow mobile, or buying me the best snow board to ride down the hill in their backyard. For letting me try and to shoot his cross bow, which I thought in my mind you had to be the strongest person on earth to pull those strings and I would never be able to do that. However, Bubba had reduce the tension to make me think that I did something so great. For all the time Bubba would pull down the stairs to go up into the attic to get down the cot for me to put in their bedroom to sleep, cause I was to chicken to sleep in the back rooms, cause I thought the monsters were going to get me. Two the both I like to say thank you for taking me to Niagra Falls and Canada even though it was their anniversay. That trip was a blast even though we forgot to pack my comb and brush. I wouldn't let grandma comb my hair with that had silver comb that she had, so I went the whole trip with a crazy looking hair. For all the trips to Vermont and Watertown, NY and Lake Champlaine I say thank you. Your patience with me will never be forgotten. I know that you are both in a better place and looking down on you legacy that you have left behind. I promise we won't let you down, we'll do our best to live up to the strong Vermonter stock that runs through our vains. So God Bless we love and miss you. However, you will be close in my heart and your memories in my mind and so I will keep you alive forever.
Love your Granddaughter
