Dear Anita: I am so sorry that you have lost your life partner. Not many people can have someone in their life for that length of time. I only met him a few times, but I thought he had a great personality and enjoyed a good laugh. Of course, if you knew anything about golf, it was easy to start a conversation with him.
You and your family are in my prayers.
Your cousin,

To Anita, the children and grandchildren: I am very sorry to hear that Bob has passed from our lives. I did not know him well, did not see him often but I know of him from the words of others. He was loved by Anita and raised a wonderful family. He must have been a wonderful man.

Burger family you are all in my thought's and prayers, Bob was a wonderful man who alway's made sure he got his hug when he cmae in to buy for less and to make sure he got one his wonderful wife would have me paged up front to find him and give him is hug, bob would tell me times of playing golf and taking his little dog with him and he would joke with me and ask if he could have my little dog, and he would sing a few lines for me, i had told him that my dad played golf and tryed to teach me but he said maybe golf was not for me bob thought that was so funny, my dad was also in a band in his younger day's and he sang, we shared many good stories, bob remined me of my dad in some way's i lost my dad 8 years ago, i will miss my hug's from bob and his smile and the twinkle in his eye's what a blessed family you are to have had each other, when bob got to heaven i hope he got to meet my dad, Anita when you come in the store always find me and get a hug for you and bob, God Bless you all i feel very blessed to have gotten to meet you, your all in my prayer's lisa.

Jan, Marilyn, and the Burger family:
The Kempf side of the family joins in mourning the loss of Bob. He was well-respected and well-loved from us here in St. Louis. Our dad, Fred R Kempf, was his cousin - only Jan Long and Marilyn Wandersee remain of the six cousins in that generation.
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during these days and years ahead. We hold him close to our hearts.
