Easterly Jan. 6, 1924 - Jun. 9, 2015 OKLAHOMA CITY, OK Robert A. "Bob" Easterly, Jr. was born in Little Rock, AR passed away peacefully at his home on June 9, 2015. He graduated from Little Rock Central High and then volunteered to serve his country joining the U.S. Navy in 1941. After his service during WWII and the Korean Conflict, he attended Little Rock Jr. College and then graduated with an Engineering Degree from the University of Oklahoma. Bob joined Phillips Petroleum and retired after 34 years as a Petroleum Engineer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elsie Easterly, his beloved wife of 51 years, Lois, sister, Johnnie Richter and son-in-law, Tony Amos. Bob is survived by his daughters, Mary Kathleen Amos, Roberta (Bob) Bea-ver, Debbie (Mark) Hunt, and son, Robert A. Easterly, III and his wife Dr. Jeannie Heyser-Easterly. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, niece, Anne Kulchen, and brother-in-law James (Kyle) Hester.Bob loved the game of golf and played often. He loved the OU Sooners and the Dallas Cowboys. Bob was a well-traveled man and had been to many U.S. states, China, Russia, South America and many other countries.A service celebrating Robert's life will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, June 12, 2015, at Crawford Family Funeral Service in Edmond.
