RUBY PATTON

July 26, 1932 - Aug. 21, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Ruby Ethel Patton, 80, passed away 8-21-12, at her home. She was born 7-26-1932, to Lawrence and Hazel Setzer Swain in McAlester, OK. Ruby is survived by her husband of 64 yrs., Gene, son, Terry, daughter-in-law, Cheryl (Shere). She was a devoted grandmother of 4 grandchildren, Aaron, Lindsey, Eric, and Nathan, 4 great-grandchildren, Nico, Evan, Sean, and Ella, who were a major part of her life and always at the core of family events and gatherings. She treasured her family and will forever be missed by all. Ruby is also survived by several nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Michael Gene Patton, two sisters, Anna Mae Patton and Fern Friday, two brothers, Leroy and J.E. Swain, and one niece, Lisa Swain. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Fri., 8-24-12, at Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
