Viewing & Visitation Thurs. & Fri. 4-8 PM, the family will be present Friday 6-8 PM at the funeral home to greet friends. Services to celebrate his life will be held 10 AM Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, at the New-castle Church of the First Born, Hwy 37 & Beverly Lane, Newcastle, OK. Although we couldn't be there to honor Stanley, please know that the Dobbs family is held very highly in our hearts. We send our deepest sympathy for your loss, and we are with you in thoughts and spirit.
Stanley Dobbs changed my life back in 1979 when he hired me to work for him, and offered my 3 year old daughter and I a little home behind the barn to live in. His job opportunity changed our lives for the better, and we all benefited from the arrangements. He gained an honest and multi-tasking employee, and my daughter and I gained a safe place to live, and many new friends out there "on the farm."
Stanley Dobbs walked me down the aisle and gave me away on the day I married Gary, much to our delight.
