Dear Karen,
I just returned home from vacation & am saddened about the death of Steve. I knew Steve, John & Vicki when they were young children. My former husband & I were friends of Harold & Donna. Reading the guest book of the wonderful testimony of Steve's walk with the Lord was a real blessing. What a legacy he has left for you, his children, his mother & sister. A man who loved his Lord Jesus Christ & was not ashamed to let his light shine. I remember Steve as a very sweet, caring little boy & always with a smile. He obviously was a very well respected man & was not afraid to show his love for the Lord Jesus Christ to the world. Continue your walk with the Lord, as only He can give you the peace & comfort that you need. Please know that you, your children, Donna & Vicki will be in my prayers.
In Christ's Love,

Karen & family...I didn't personally know Steve, however, I felt as if I did. Don, my husband, had the privilege to work with him at GEBCO. Don always had wonderful things to say about Steve. He respected him as a workmate and as an individual. We are deeply sorry about your loss. May the comfort that only God can give, bring you an inner calm and peace, to sustain you, in this most difficult of times.

As I sat flipping thru the obits last night, I saw Steve's effervescent smile and was saddened to hear of his death. We work together at TEC years ago, and I can truly say he was one of the most gentle, kindest men I had ever met. May your grief be softened by the love that others have for you and your family - and by a very real and present God who has promised us comfort in our times of sorrow.

Karen & Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy. Steve will always be remembered as a friend even though the last time we spoke was in Atlanta at our RAF Mildenhall Chapel Reunion. Steve will be dearly missed by all of us and I will always have fond memories of Steve when we were stationed in England at RAF Mildenhall. We shared many good times together through the chapel and bible studies in the home of our good friends Chaplain Eric & Dee Jewett. We know Steve is with our Lord and Savior and we too will one day see each other again. Praise God for this promise. Now may our Lord give you and your family the peace that passes all understanding.

His total commitment and true compassion for the disabled veterans we served was recognized by everyone at TEC. Our heartfelt prayers and condolences go out to Karen, the beautiful children and all of Steve's family and friends.
