Tommy Lee Hamilton

Tommy Lee Hamilton, 72, of Moore, OK, was born Oct. 25, 1947, to Lawrence & Ruby Hamilton in Hugo, OK. He passed away Sept. 9, 2020, in Moore, OK. Tommy graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1966 and went on to join the United States Army, where he served in the Vietnam War. After returning from Vietnam, he went to UCO and graduated with a bachelor's degree. Tommy is survived by his wife, Rhonda Hamilton, of the home; two children, Keri Hale & husband Andrew and Brenton Hamilton & wife Melissa; five grandchildren, Hamilton, Garnet, and Henry Hale; William and Harper Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Hamilton and Ruby Joyner and husband Arthur; two brothers and two sisters. Arrangements are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.

Tom was the most caring man, he was always there for you ❤. Tom and I worked together for a time at Demco. Tom moved on to another job. Tom and I bought our first set of golf clubs together in 1976 and we played golf every Saturday along with 12 to 16 friends until 1998. We both served in Vietnam around same time. Tom was really a true and dear friend. How also loved to shoot pool. He is a outstanding father and had so much love for his grandchildren. I will miss this man greatly. Prayers are with the family members ❤ ♥.

Kerri I’m so sorry about Dad, we’d always talked at GiGi and Lilly’s softball games, he’s such a nice man and great with Henry and Hamilton and GIGi. He was always proud of them. Praying for you all, Debi Edwards. (Lilly and Jakes Grandma)
